As a side, if you like really loud music and fast drumming, you have to go find the band lightning bolt! It was one of the craziest shows I’ve ever been to.

The word is as awkward as its looks – a fat bomb that refuses to fall. It hovers around downtown LA like a weird man made mini-raincloud advertising what made Los Angeles it is today – tires.
I’m fascinated. I briefly traveled around downtown trying to get a glimpse of the blimp from different angles. Next time it is out, I’m going to chase it to its home… and maybe, finally, I’ll be able to meet a blimp pilot! This would complete the circle for me.

This week on Gross or Awesome…
A carefully plucked hair from Marc’s beard, split near the middle by nature’s choice. A fork in the road. Do you go to the deserted island with only a battery powered pipe organ or do you head for the jungle with just a leaf blower and fork-lift? This is it! So I must ask you now – Is this photo Gross or Awesome?
.
You decide GROSS or AWESOME. Please leave your response in the comments section of this post; you can answer why if you have time to kill.
Tune in next week for Kitchens from the 50s
p.s Yes, something can be grossly awesome and awesomely gross. Take a side.

I had a meeting today at Fox to come up with a master plan on forever changing the face of television programming. I think it went well.
Upon arriving there, I had to park in “the galaxy parking lot” – exciting, right?!? On my way back to the car, I looked up and low and behold… Julie Andrews was being mocked by a parking gate! What has this world come to? Nothing is sacred anymore!
